Voyage Data Recorder (VDR)

The objective of a Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) is to maintain and store (in a secure and retrievable form) the information concerning the position, movement, physical status, command and control of a ship over the period leading up to and following an incident.

Therefore, as the VDR is a safety critical component for ships since 2002, we at Themys have partnered with the well known VDR G4e expert MacGregor Interschalt.
