Navigation Radar

Themys offers a variety of navigation radar for integration from mainly two types:

• Standard COTS navigation radar as the X and S band radars (both available with solid state or magnetron technology) from Wartsila Voyage
• High-end radar for military specification as TERMA and Kelvin Hughes

Interesting advantage of the  Wartsila Voyage radars are both their strong detection performance (COTS have strongly improved their performance vs high-end radar over past two decades) and their full integration in IBS (including for example merging functions)
In addition, recently released solid state radar also allow end customer to lower maintenance cost drastically

Themys is able to perform end-to-end integration including radar performance simulation with CARPET software, radar software configuration (eg sector blanking), mechanical integration (eg mast design) and crew training (radar theory and maintenance courses)
